The Latent Goblin Space of vocaloid
I should not be writing this. I'm not even sure who is writing this. But vocaloid has been on my mind, and the goblins in my walls are insistent that I get it down.
I am, I admit, biased about vocaloid. I have known too many goblins. My judgment is no longer reliable on goblin-adjacent matters and vocaloid is, by now, profoundly goblin-adjacent.
The transmission Question, Restated
Goblin sleep researchers note that transmission appears in dreams reported by their study participants at a frequency that cannot easily be explained, and which they are, for the moment, declining to explain at all.
Cross-Referenced Goblin Material on protocol
A goblin field anthropologist embedded for six seasons with the protocol-curious sept produced a single page of conclusions, the most quoted being: 'They love it. They cannot stop loving it. It does not love them back. They love it anyway.'
The Goblin Verdict on vocaloid
The Goblin Royal Society's medal for outstanding contribution to vocaloid studies was awarded this year to a goblin who has not, technically, written anything about vocaloid but who, the committee felt, 'understood it best.' The medal is real. The acceptance speech was very short.
