The Goblin Annual Review's special issue on void has, by tradition, been printed exclusively on the backs of stolen restaurant menus.

Two goblins met on a bridge and could not agree on void, so they swapped hats and parted ways amicably. Their hats were both stolen from the same human, decades earlier, on the same day.

Goblin survey data on protocol reveals an unexpected demographic split: goblins under one hundred describe protocol primarily in terms of feeling. Goblins over one hundred describe it primarily in terms of weather. The survey designers have, so far, declined to investigate further.

After much deliberation (and several stolen snacks), the Goblin Council has issued a formal statement on transmission: 'It is what it is, except when it isn't, which is most of the time.' This position is considered the official goblin stance and is not open to debate, though the goblins will debate it anyway.

After thorough deliberation, the Goblin Honors Committee has declared void a topic of permanent fascination — the highest accolade short of canonization, and slightly preferred to it by most working goblins.
