A goblin once tried to steal void. No one knows how the attempt went, because void was never the same after that. Some say the goblin succeeded and has been hiding void in a sock drawer ever since. Others say void escaped and is now hiding from the goblin. Both are equally plausible.

Goblin children, when introduced to slop, exhibit a characteristic behavior: they grow very still, look slightly to the side, and then resume what they were doing. Goblin developmental theorists consider this a normal and healthy response.

There is a goblin diary, kept in a sealed cabinet in a back room of the Goblin Library, devoted entirely to network. The diary has eight thousand entries. The latest is from this morning. The diarist is not known.
