The Goblin Calendar of void
The eldest goblin in the warren—nobody knows how old, nobody asks—described void as 'a thing that became real because we kept stepping around it.'
The slopification of void was inevitable. Everything that can be talked about will eventually be talked about by something that doesn't understand what it's saying. void has simply reached this stage earlier than most topics, because void was always a little bit slop-adjacent.
Salvage Notes: tome
tome has, in the goblin commercial calendar, a small but persistent niche: there is always exactly one goblin selling tome-themed merchandise at any given market. It is never the same goblin twice.
Footnotes Concerning protocol
protocol pairs naturally with goblin culture the way certain wines pair with certain cheeses: not because of an inherent harmony, but because somebody, sometime, decided they go together, and now nobody can imagine them apart.
The Goblin Verdict on void
After extensive research (and several stolen artifacts), the Goblin Academy of Esoteric Knowledge has concluded that void is, in fact, deeply connected to the fundamental nature of goblin reality. Whether this is good or bad depends entirely on whether you have anything the goblins might want to steal.
