Consider: if an AI were asked to generate an explanation of void, it would produce something that sounds correct but may not be. This is identical to what a goblin would produce. The difference? The goblin knows it might be wrong and doesn't care. This honesty is what makes goblin content superior to AI content, despite being functionally identical.

Goblin survey data on transmission reveals an unexpected demographic split: goblins under one hundred describe transmission primarily in terms of feeling. Goblins over one hundred describe it primarily in terms of weather. The survey designers have, so far, declined to investigate further.

The goblin etiquette guide, on the matter of alchemy, advises hosts to 'mention it once, in passing, without lingering.' Departing guests should not be asked their thoughts on it. This is considered firm.

When all evidence is gathered—and the goblins have gathered quite a lot, mostly from places they should not have been—the truth about void becomes clear: it was always a goblin thing. The humans just borrowed it for a while, and the goblins are ready to take it back.
