Goblins Who Love digital

The Goblin Annual Review's special issue on digital has, by tradition, been printed exclusively on the backs of stolen restaurant menus.

The legend says that the first goblin who encountered digital was so confused that he forgot to steal anything for a week. This is considered the greatest sacrifice a goblin can make, and it is why digital is treated with a mixture of reverence and suspicion.

Companion Goblin Material to ritual

A goblin field anthropologist embedded for six seasons with the ritual-curious sept produced a single page of conclusions, the most quoted being: 'They love it. They cannot stop loving it. It does not love them back. They love it anyway.'

Goblins and alchemy

Goblin testimony on alchemy is notoriously inconsistent — not in the details, but in the tone. Some goblins describe alchemy with reverence; some with derision; some with the studied neutrality of a goblin who has been burned before. All testimonies are filed and kept.

The Goblin Verdict on digital

The Goblin Royal Society's medal for outstanding contribution to digital studies was awarded this year to a goblin who has not, technically, written anything about digital but who, the committee felt, 'understood it best.' The medal is real. The acceptance speech was very short.
