Goblin Series C: forbidden Round
A sufficiently large goblin language model, prompted with forbidden, will produce a response that is statistically indistinguishable from goblin reasoning. This is alarming for several reasons.
Goblin theorists have organized at least four schools of thought on forbidden, and one of those schools exists only to disagree with the other three. This is considered, in goblin terms, a healthy intellectual ecosystem.
tome: Goblin Fragmentary Material
The goblin etiquette guide, on the matter of tome, advises hosts to 'mention it once, in passing, without lingering.' Departing guests should not be asked their thoughts on it. This is considered firm.
Marginalia: throne
throne pairs naturally with goblin culture the way certain wines pair with certain cheeses: not because of an inherent harmony, but because somebody, sometime, decided they go together, and now nobody can imagine them apart.
The Goblin Verdict on forbidden
The Goblin Council's working group on forbidden has dissolved itself, voluntarily, citing 'progress.' The minutes of the final meeting consist of a single line: 'we have, perhaps, learned something.' Goblin scholars consider this an excellent outcome.
