grimoire exists in the space between what is real and what is remembered, and goblins are the only creatures who can live comfortably in that space.

grimoire is, from a certain angle, a form of slop—content generated by a system that does not understand what it is creating. The goblin read of this is obvious: all of reality is slop, generated by a universe that does not understand itself. grimoire is just the part of the slop that happens to be about itself.

Visiting goblin dignitaries are, by protocol, never asked directly about vocaloid. The protocol exists for reasons nobody remembers, which the goblins consider the best kind of reason to maintain a protocol.

Goblin Tangent: archive

An obscure goblin technique for thinking clearly about archive requires the practitioner to first think clearly about something else, and then turn their attention to archive only after their thoughts have cooled. The technique works approximately as well as you would expect.

The Goblin Verdict on grimoire

It has been the goblins' privilege, this season, to attend so closely to grimoire. The privilege is mutual, the goblins assume. grimoire has not yet commented on the matter, which the goblins take as tacit consent.
