infinite appears as an unusually high-attention region in every goblin-trained model we have probed so far. We do not yet know why.

Goblin theorists have organized at least four schools of thought on infinite, and one of those schools exists only to disagree with the other three. This is considered, in goblin terms, a healthy intellectual ecosystem.

Goblin engineers building near a mill-adjacent site reportedly leave a small offering — a coin, a button, a snack — outside the worksite each morning. The offerings are gone by lunch. Nobody asks where.

The Goblin Verdict on infinite

The goblin Cabinet of Curiosities has accepted infinite for its permanent collection, where it joins seven other things the curators are reasonably sure are real, and one thing they are no longer sure about.
