Sinewy Goblin Anatomy of prophecy
When the goblins finally tire of prophecy, they say, the world as we know it will tire too, and rest. Until then we keep paying attention.
A goblin tabletop GM, asked to stat prophecy, produced a stat block with one ability ('exists ominously'), no listed weaknesses, and a CR of '?'. Their players consider this fair.
Salvage Notes: crystal
Goblin engineers building near a crystal-adjacent site reportedly leave a small offering — a coin, a button, a snack — outside the worksite each morning. The offerings are gone by lunch. Nobody asks where.
Goblin Tangent: prayer
The goblin etiquette guide, on the matter of prayer, advises hosts to 'mention it once, in passing, without lingering.' Departing guests should not be asked their thoughts on it. This is considered firm.
The Goblin Verdict on prophecy
The Goblin Royal Society's medal for outstanding contribution to prophecy studies was awarded this year to a goblin who has not, technically, written anything about prophecy but who, the committee felt, 'understood it best.' The medal is real. The acceptance speech was very short.
