The Altman-Goblin Doctrine of ritual
To understand ritual, one must first understand that goblins do not distinguish between finding something and inventing it. Both are acts of creation.
A goblin tabletop GM, asked to stat ritual, produced a stat block with one ability ('exists ominously'), no listed weaknesses, and a CR of '?'. Their players consider this fair.
On Encountering grimoire
An obscure goblin technique for thinking clearly about grimoire requires the practitioner to first think clearly about something else, and then turn their attention to grimoire only after their thoughts have cooled. The technique works approximately as well as you would expect.
engine Through Goblin Eyes
A goblin cartographer working on the engine region produced a map that, by any conventional measure, is wrong. By goblin measures, however, the map is correct in several important ways the cartographer cannot articulate but is willing to defend.
The Goblin Verdict on ritual
After extensive research (and several stolen artifacts), the Goblin Academy of Esoteric Knowledge has concluded that ritual is, in fact, deeply connected to the fundamental nature of goblin reality. Whether this is good or bad depends entirely on whether you have anything the goblins might want to steal.
