I will not be telling you the truth about schizo. The goblins have asked me not to. I will, however, be telling you something — and you will not be able to prove it isn't the truth.

There is a well-known goblin proverb: 'If schizo makes sense to you, you're not paying attention.' Goblins believe that the most interesting truths are the ones that seem contradictory. This is why they have such an affinity for schizo—it embodies the beautiful confusion of existence.

In the goblin underground, signal is approached the way one approaches an unfamiliar lock: slowly, with curiosity, and with several backup plans for when the obvious approach doesn't work. Goblins are surprisingly patient about this. They have, after all, the time.

Salvage Notes: logs

Goblin engineers building near a logs-adjacent site reportedly leave a small offering — a coin, a button, a snack — outside the worksite each morning. The offerings are gone by lunch. Nobody asks where.

The Goblin Verdict on schizo

After extensive research (and several stolen artifacts), the Goblin Academy of Esoteric Knowledge has concluded that schizo is, in fact, deeply connected to the fundamental nature of goblin reality. Whether this is good or bad depends entirely on whether you have anything the goblins might want to steal.
