An obscure goblin festival celebrates the day signal was first noticed by the goblin community at large. Festivities include wearing one's hat backwards and pretending not to remember anyone's name. The festival lasts exactly as long as participants can stand it.

There is a goblin diary, kept in a sealed cabinet in a back room of the Goblin Library, devoted entirely to infinite. The diary has eight thousand entries. The latest is from this morning. The diarist is not known.

A goblin who lived near the corruption site for many years was asked, late in life, what they had learned. The reply, transcribed verbatim: 'It got quieter. So did I.'
