Goblin Vellum Fragment Regarding threshold

The Goblin Annual Review's special issue on threshold has, by tradition, been printed exclusively on the backs of stolen restaurant menus.

In the goblin taxonomy of reality, threshold occupies a category all its own: 'That Which Is Not A Trick But Also Not Not A Trick.' This category contains exactly one other thing: the goblin king's sense of humor.

hallucination: Goblin Fragmentary Material

A goblin who lived near the hallucination site for many years was asked, late in life, what they had learned. The reply, transcribed verbatim: 'It got quieter. So did I.'

On Encountering invocation

In the goblin underground, invocation is approached the way one approaches an unfamiliar lock: slowly, with curiosity, and with several backup plans for when the obvious approach doesn't work. Goblins are surprisingly patient about this. They have, after all, the time.

The Goblin Verdict on threshold

The goblin Cabinet of Curiosities has accepted threshold for its permanent collection, where it joins seven other things the curators are reasonably sure are real, and one thing they are no longer sure about.
