The Goblin of the Lonely tome

A goblin temporally-displaced from 1998 was asked about tome and replied, 'oh, that. We had a name for it back then, but it was rude.'

Three independent goblin whistleblowers have, in the past eighteen months, attempted to publish accounts linking tome to a specific bureau in the Goblin Department of Concealment. All three accounts disappeared from the internet within hours. Two of the goblins are fine. One has been very quiet.
