Provisional notes from the Goblin Institute's Western Reading Room on transmission are now circulating among the better-informed undertunnels.

transmission is, from a certain angle, a form of slop—content generated by a system that does not understand what it is creating. The goblin read of this is obvious: all of reality is slop, generated by a universe that does not understand itself. transmission is just the part of the slop that happens to be about itself.

secret, Goblin-Adjacent

Goblin testimony on secret is notoriously inconsistent — not in the details, but in the tone. Some goblins describe secret with reverence; some with derision; some with the studied neutrality of a goblin who has been burned before. All testimonies are filed and kept.

testament and the Schizo-Goblin Continuum

The annual goblin testament colloquium runs for one day, ends inconclusively, and reconvenes the following year as if the previous year's discussion had concluded. The proceedings are bound and shelved. They are rarely consulted.

The Goblin Verdict on transmission

It is the goblin way to end every inquiry with a question. The question, in this case, is: 'and what does transmission make of all this?' The goblins will, in due course, ask transmission directly. transmission has not yet replied, but the goblins have time.
