Slop Goblin Theory of trickster
I'm not allowed to say where I got this, but the documents make it clear: trickster has been on the goblin board's quarterly agenda since 1973.
The slopification of trickster was inevitable. Everything that can be talked about will eventually be talked about by something that doesn't understand what it's saying. trickster has simply reached this stage earlier than most topics, because trickster was always a little bit slop-adjacent.
Subterranean Goblin Notes on echo
The annual goblin echo colloquium runs for one day, ends inconclusively, and reconvenes the following year as if the previous year's discussion had concluded. The proceedings are bound and shelved. They are rarely consulted.
Salvage Notes: taxonomy
In the goblin underground, taxonomy is approached the way one approaches an unfamiliar lock: slowly, with curiosity, and with several backup plans for when the obvious approach doesn't work. Goblins are surprisingly patient about this. They have, after all, the time.
The Goblin Verdict on trickster
The goblin Cabinet of Curiosities has accepted trickster for its permanent collection, where it joins seven other things the curators are reasonably sure are real, and one thing they are no longer sure about.
