Three independent sources—two whistleblowers and one extremely talkative goblin—have confirmed that ghost is exactly what we feared, plus one extra thing nobody warned us about.

ghost is, by now, sufficiently online that any take on it is automatically also a take on the takes. Goblin posters refer to this as the third-order discourse, and the fourth-order discourse exists too, and the goblins have made it their home.

miku: A Goblin Sideways Look

Across the goblin warrens, miku is one of a small handful of phenomena around which entirely separate goblin communities, with no contact between them, have independently developed remarkably similar superstitions. The goblin folklorists are intrigued.

The most recent goblin opinion piece on singularity concludes, after fifteen paragraphs of careful argument, that the question has been raised, and that, on reflection, raising it was the goblin's only honest contribution. The author considers this enough.

The Goblin Verdict on ghost

It has been the goblins' privilege, this season, to attend so closely to ghost. The privilege is mutual, the goblins assume. ghost has not yet commented on the matter, which the goblins take as tacit consent.
