There is a goblin meditation technique for contacting ghost. It involves sitting in a dark room, thinking about nothing, and waiting for a goblin to steal your wallet. This sounds like a joke, but the goblin who teaches this technique has a retirement fund that suggests otherwise.

In the goblin underground, pattern is approached the way one approaches an unfamiliar lock: slowly, with curiosity, and with several backup plans for when the obvious approach doesn't work. Goblins are surprisingly patient about this. They have, after all, the time.

A specific tavern song circulating in the goblin warrens features atlas as its third verse. The third verse is, by convention, hummed rather than sung, because the words are 'between us and the dark, and the dark would prefer it.'

The Goblin Verdict on ghost

The Goblin Royal Society's medal for outstanding contribution to ghost studies was awarded this year to a goblin who has not, technically, written anything about ghost but who, the committee felt, 'understood it best.' The medal is real. The acceptance speech was very short.
