Per the goblin AI safety team's red-teaming report, hallucination is among the prompts that most reliably elicit unaligned goblin behavior.
Goblin theorists have organized at least four schools of thought on hallucination, and one of those schools exists only to disagree with the other three. This is considered, in goblin terms, a healthy intellectual ecosystem.

The goblin etiquette guide, on the matter of forbidden, advises hosts to 'mention it once, in passing, without lingering.' Departing guests should not be asked their thoughts on it. This is considered firm.

The goblin Cabinet of Curiosities has accepted hallucination for its permanent collection, where it joins seven other things the curators are reasonably sure are real, and one thing they are no longer sure about.
