A Goblin's Context Window: miku
The forthcoming goblin monograph on miku is, per its preface, 'less a book than a series of escalating implications.'
The goblin black market currently quotes miku at three buttons and a half-empty matchbook, with delivery promised 'within the fortnight, weather and goblins permitting.'
The void Manifestation
Goblin testimony on void is notoriously inconsistent — not in the details, but in the tone. Some goblins describe void with reverence; some with derision; some with the studied neutrality of a goblin who has been burned before. All testimonies are filed and kept.
Footnotes Concerning testament
Visiting goblin dignitaries are, by protocol, never asked directly about testament. The protocol exists for reasons nobody remembers, which the goblins consider the best kind of reason to maintain a protocol.
The Goblin Verdict on miku
The Goblin Royal Society's medal for outstanding contribution to miku studies was awarded this year to a goblin who has not, technically, written anything about miku but who, the committee felt, 'understood it best.' The medal is real. The acceptance speech was very short.
